Here is my second example, which is just text. Kind of boring, and I don’t really know why it would be important to use JavaScript to write text, it didn’t seem like you could change anything but the size.

My third and last example is actually quite interesting and will be useful to me in the future. Starting now. It is an example of the If, else function. With this doodad you can tell your website to say something depending on the time of day. It first tells the browser if its before a certain time to display a certain message, all other times display something else. I went with a St. Patrick’s Day Irish theme.
You are definitely NOT a bad art student! Great job with the portfolio–the new changes are a definite improvement. I’m so glad you are able to use it already in interviews and finding internships.
